Tahi rua toru tech

Me and Abbie are doing tahi rua toru teach challenge. We are making a app to help with stress and depression. Coding is kinda hard when you first time doing it. We made yoga videos to add to our app. First I will tell you the name of our app its called OZONE. Because its like your own space like your own zone. We had to make it on MIT App Inventor.

App Inventor is very easy to work with even though it has lots of buttons. We have learnt how to use code by watching tutorials and Mr A has helped us.

So I will tell you why we wanted to make this app. Because me and Abbie also get stressed and we want to help people. This is for kids mostly.

Disney land trip

On saturday at 8.00 pm we had to drive to  Auckland to catch a plane to Sydney to La to Orlando Florida. We stayed at art of animation hotel. We stayed at disneyland for 4 days. First we went to magic kingdom which was a lot of fun I got a teddy named stitch. We did some little rides for Mokii and some big rides for Me and Pama. Then we went back to the hotel and came back at night  to see the fireworks it was so colorful and pretty. After that we went to the hunted house to wasn't scary but it had cool details for the inside of the house and  cool effects for the ghost. Then we rushed to splash mountain every time it went dark you think your going to go down the horrifying drop! I screamed when I went down you could see the lights flashing on the side when you go down the huge high side. Yes you definitely get wet!

Next morning we had to wake up super early we were heading to epcot. It was awesome there was markets and restaurants. We did a jungle ride it was fun mokii loved it. Then we did nemo's reef it was really cool because all the characters in nemo was  on a real fish tank and there was a  lot of singing. Then dad,me and Pama went on test track ride we got to design a car in your group. Dad and Pama got to do most of it. I got to choose the colour of it I choose light pink and silver sparks. I was so excited to see how fast our car went. Zoom it went around the corners and past the lightning clash the door open to outside vroom went the ride. Up and down it  went. It felt so good when the wind  blowed in my face. We came  to a stop YAY we came first for the speed! We were all puffed from walking around the park. Me and Mokii was a sleep on the bus all the way to the hotel. We got all our bags ready for the man to pick up early in the morning to put into a big truck that takes it all the way to the port.

Nested morning we had to meet under the caderla in the mid hall in the hotel. We were so excited for the Disney fantasy cruise! We took a long bus ride to the port to the ship. I was shaking they said “welcome the tipene hook family”It was bigger than I imagined once we got into our rooms. Me,dad and Pama went exploring around the ship. It was very fun it even had a slide it was an Exciting aventure.

 

                                     

                

                   

Wit Art work

Hi this is the wit Art. The title is We need to stop!

We need to save the native birds in New Zealand. More smoke and rubbish or more native birds? My art is about the native birds in New Zealand and how we are littering and birds are eating the rubbish. And also there’s a smoke factory in the background putting smoke in the air and a piece of rubbish in the tree. My art is impressionism I did impressionism because I never heard of it. I mixed some colours for my practice. I did a light green,a dark green, nice blues and yellow and more. It was so fun to understand to mix and blend colours to light to dark with impressionism art style.

Lock Down

It was a normal day playing happily on the playground. The bell rang. We all went back to our classroom and finished our math. Aimee was so hungry and everyone was playing games.

all of a sudden there was a voice on the speaker saying “this is your principle please walk back to your classroom calmly this is a lock down THIS IS NOT A DRILL”! Everyone started running all over the place.

But Aimee and Ruby were all the way up to the gate they couldn’t hear it. They saw all of the students running to their classroom. Aimee and Ruby went to there classroom “why are you lying down”? “Get down” said the teacher. Aimee and Ruby went down on the floor. Two stupid boys were making a lots of noise saying “it’s a drill”.

The teacher said “Sh”. Footsteps were coming closer and closer to the door. The door opened slowly... it was the police officer. “come on let’s get out of here”. There was five classrooms and four police officers they all had to get out in time.

Around the corner was a man with guns. “RUN” all of us ran outside to all of the parents. But the police still had to deal we the Man armed with guns. He didn’t get away that esley. He was sent to jail.

Holiday Matai bay

In the holidays we had to drive for 8 hours! It ewas raining. My Mum and Nanna went to a supermarket to get some food. We got to the hotel and Mum checked us in. We took our bags inside, Me and Pama went up the stairs and had a look it was nice. Everything was fine until we had a power cut all the hotel rooms had no power so all of us use our phones to see.

Next morning we went shopping then we went swimming, I got sunburnt badly! We went to have fish in chips, they were THE BEST FISH IN CHIPS!!

 On Saturday my dad went to hire a golf cart my dad is a crazy driver. He went down the hill and almost flipped the golf cart over! I was having so much fun. After that we went swimming at Matia bay we bought our snorkel mask it smelled so fishy. It was still hot by the time we got out I wanted to stay but Mum was getting cold. It was only 5-10 min to drive back to the hotel.


The next morning we all woke up early we had to go back home. We closed our bags dragged all our bags down the stairs me and Pama were tired Mokii got to sleep on my dad. We drove to check out then we went to a cheese shop I got to taste test everything it was delicious. We were half way home and decided to stop at a cafe and get milkshakes. I slept the rest of the way home. I woke up and we were in Auckland we stopped at my uncle's house and saw my cousins. We went to pick up my shoes and mums jar of caramel onions then we got back on the road. We got home at last, my Nana's sister was looking after the house she had to leave the next day. The dog got very excited. But the unpacking the worst bit!
