cross country

          The cross country

Last week I did my cross country. I did two competitive relays and one run by myself the competitive relay I did it with Stella, Kiahn and me I was going to go in the fun run but I didn't because I wanted to challenge myself.  It started raining but we still did the race  it was so hard to run on the sloppy mud. I nearly slipped over. I did one lap around the farm and two laps around the school I liked when we went down the hill because it could give me some speed to go in front. I went fast like the wind I just kept on going my feet felt cold as a ice block I was running as fast as I can and I reached for the finished line. Then I came 5th place in the race then I went to go get something to eat. Then they called out the competitive relay me kiahn and stella went to line up to get ready i when first and when tagged Kiahn and then Kiahn went the back of tuhono and tagged stella and sella wound ran to the finished line.when the cross country finished Mr Anderson came into tuhono and called out the name and my name was on the list i was so happy :) because it was my first time going to the new plymouth and all so Kiahn and ella got in too. now it was home time I was jumping with joy to tell my  Nanny, Mum and my Dad They was so happy that I got into the new plymouth's.

            That was my  cross country

What would you do for the cross country?

  1. You have a really nice flow to your writing Haka and set some great goals for yourself. Even though it seems hard at the time, it is great when you can proud of your results. I like how you have ended your post with a question which invites others to respond to you....so I will!!! When I was at school I wasn't a great sports person but I wasn't too bad at long distance running. I would get up early in the morning and run the bridges in Wanganui. That was quite a distance so it got me really fit and ready for my race. I always got in the top ten for my secondary school and that meant I could represent my school at the Wanganui race. We also had another race that was run around Virginia Lake which was beautiful as it was all through trees. I am pleased you were proud of yourself and your efforts.
